Chemistry is a subject where one has to use nearly all the sense organs.*.We sense the world around us by our sense organs by touching, seeing, smelling, hearing and tasting. When these sensations have some meaning for us these can be termed as perceptions. These perceptions stand for facts and these facts are later organized into concepts and generalizations.

So for the purpose of better perception and conceptual learning, we employ demonstrative methods of teaching chemistry, where we try to conduct numerous experiments which help bring variety in learning and gives in-depth knowledge by which learning becomes permanent. Apart from this, plenty of hands-on activities are done by way of practicals, by which students comprehend better and concepts become permanent.

Another method employed is usage of models for topics such as chemical bonding, charts (in form of game) for balancing equations, flow charts to explain processes, diagrams to convey ideas, power point presentations to demonstrate the formation of electrons, protons etc. Plenty of activities through science clubs, visits to science exhibitions, etc are done on a regular basis.




“Concept understanding” is most important to comprehend Physics so our teaching methodology focuses on making students learn through concepts. Easy and practical activities / examples are used to make concept understanding easier. We have introduced “Open Door Programme” and “Experifun” too which helps the students to think beyond books.

Biology is the science of life or living matter in all its form and phenomenon. As it’s a branch of knowledge that deals with living organisms and their vital life processes, we build the concepts to realize the child as a unique creation of nature. Let him /her feel all vital processes, phenomenon, interactions and co- ordinations happening within him/her and himself/herself and the environment.

We demonstrate models, charts, slides and interesting audiovisual aids to build the concepts of anatomy and physiology more interesting and innovative. We use live and preserved specimens to acknowledge the child with classification, origin, evolution and adaptation of life with its environment. We perform various kinds of experiments to encourage our students to build concepts “learning by doing.” We use “Experifun aids”, school garden, organize outdoor visits of various places, to show use of biotechnology which make human life and its environment more happier and healthier giving them a space and sphere to explore more ………
