Beyond the Campus
School Outings: A school trip is one of the highlights of a student’s life each year. At Sherwood High we ensure that every destination chosen is a combination of fun and learning, making for some great memories for our students. The aim of these trips is to help children relax and bond with students of other sections.
School trips for pre-primary right up to high school are conducted in the month of November each year. A variety of destinations is chosen from resorts to farms to more.
“We Care for others”: As part of these initiatives, we have another set of outings organized post the final examinations in the months of March-April. Children are taken to old age homes where they put up a cultural show for the inmates. They are encouraged to make cards and carry gifts and spend some quality time with seniors.
Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA): All students of Grade 7 are members of this club. They are taken to various initiatives that help raise civic awareness and give them an understanding of how they can make a difference. Outings are organized to recycling units, rainwater harvesting plants, water treatment units etc.
