Admission Counsellor

The Admission Counsellor must build and maintain enduring and enriching relationships with existing as well as prospective members of the School.

1. General Responsibilities

    • Understand and uphold the School’s mission, vision, ethos, and policies
    • Stay informed about the School’s unique strengths and offerings
    • Use reference materials to address enquiries efficiently
    • Maintain daily logs of calls and emails
    • Respond to all communications promptly
    • Participate in School events and promotional activities

2. Admissions

A. Pre-Admission
      • Record and respond to all types of enquiries (walk-in, online, telephonic)
      • Guide parents through registration and curriculum details
      • Schedule parent interactions and school tours
      • Coordinate academic discussions and assessments
      • Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and virtual meetings
      • Assist with optional facilities (e.g., transport)
      • Support parents through the entire admission process
      • Verify submitted documents and follow up on discrepancies
      • Coordinate with Accounts Team for fee payments
B. Post-Admission
      • Maintain admission records and verify documentation
      • Handle admission cancellations
      • Prepare and distribute admission kits
      • Update all data accurately in the ERP system
      • Coordinate mid-term transitions with staff
      • Assist with orientation for new students
      • Ensure smooth completion of formalities and allotments
      • Organize parent meetings when required
      • Collect feedback from parents as needed

3. Parent Relations

    • Maintain records of parent queries and grievances
    • Address academic and non-academic concerns
    • Redirect unresolved queries to the appropriate department
    • Resolve grievances efficiently and escalate when necessary
    • Ensure all queries and grievances are fully addressed

Role Requirements:

  • Qualification: Graduation/Post Graduation in any field. (Business Administration/Marketing preferred)
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Teaching/Education Background preferred. Candidates with experience in Marketing preferred. Candidates having experience in ERP handling preferred.
  • Skills: Computer literacy (Excel knowledge essential), Excellent soft skills, Multitasking, Crisis Management
    Qualities: Team player, Persuasive, Assertive, Result oriented
