Vice Principal Post

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Vice Principal to assist the Principal in the organization, management and leadership of the school and undertaking the key duties of a senior leader. The candidate would be expected to use their initiative and judgment within the school’s objectives and to demonstrate accountability to the Principal.

  • The Vice Principal will provide inspiring leadership to ensure an exceptional curriculum intent, implementation, and impact across the school.
  • The Vice Principal will support and uphold the vision, ethos, principles and policies of the school.
  • The Vice Principal will deputize for the Principal in the day-to-day running of the School.

Skill Requirements:

Develop & implement quality of long, medium and short-term curriculum planning and action plans to enhance learning experience of students.

Assist the Principal in planning, preparing and executing the Institutional Plan/Perspective Plan/Forecasting Plan, keeping in mind the overall development of the School.

To work with and under the direction of the Principal in developing, evolving, and embedding HR policies and procedures.

The Vice Principal will work closely with the coordinators to ensure a consistent approach to education and well-being in all areas of the school’s work, policies, and suggest necessary changes and improvisations.

Work collaboratively and implement the education programme with the concerned departments for both curricular and co-curricular activities.

Assist the Principal to effectively implement, evaluate & improve the Academic plan throughout the year.

Establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality, high expectations and nurturing positive work environment.

Be an excellent practitioner and leader with the intent and ability to transform the lives of students. Help each student develop, both personally and academically, so they have the knowledge and skills to progress to an aspirational career.

Help the new teachers in the department to acclimatize themselves in understanding the ethos of the school and the way of functioning in the department.

Effectively lead the team, manage infrastructure and other resources.

Organize demonstration lesson within the departments.

Take lead in addressing routine concerns pertaining to students, parents, teachers, and hold meetings on demand.

Prepare and submit necessary reports to the Principal / concerned authorities/management in a timely manner.

Take classes, develop rapport with the students and handle discipline issues in conjunction with the Principal

To take up any other assignment given by the Principal / Concerned Authorities / Management, from time to time

Desired Candidate Profile:

Expert knowledge on ICSE rules and regulations, academic information, affiliation and procedural issues.

Latest and updated knowledge on best practices, various teaching methodologies and developments at National / International level pertaining to academic administration.

Education Qualification:

Excellent academic track record. B.Ed. with a Post-Graduation in any teaching subject.


3-5 years in the rank of Vice Principal/ Sr. Coordinator in schools of repute with student strength in the range of 1500 and above. Preferred age group 40-50 years.
