When Sherwood High was first conceptualized and established in 2010 by the Founding Members of our Trust, it was with the intention of creating an educational hub that would be like no other. Today, we are proud to say that our institution functions on a strong base of world-class infrastructure and has an amazing team of teachers and staff with the inimitable Academic Director, Mrs. Agnes Davies at the helm.

Message from the Principal
It’s a deep privilege and honour to be on board of a respected and reputed institution like Sherwood High that has already created a positive influence in the minds of children and parents. As the new Principal, all my actions will be directed to take the school to greater heights and ensure that learning will be truly a joyful experience.
Teaching and working closely with children of all age groups is what I enjoy; this continues to be my passion and will remain my passion.
As we complete a decade, I truly believe that success comes to those who work hard and who don’t rest on the laurels of the past.
At Sherwood High, we will continue to strive harder and move forward by adapting to the new normal.
2020 has been quite challenging for all, more so for the teaching community. In such uncertain times, we have noticed how the traditional classroom style of learning has evolved into online teaching and learning. The teaching staff has taken a tremendous effort to adapt to the digitized world, from learning to use the technology to teach the students so that the chain of learning is not broken. Our trained and experienced teaching staff at Sherwood High is passionate and highly committed to building a positive relationship with their students thereby unlocking their hidden potential.
What also remains constant is our endeavour to serve our students and the community with dedication and passion unparalleled. We believe that the objective is not to just apprise but also to empower and evolve. Here, we ensure that students make a smooth transition from dependence to independence through our philosophy “Learn. Lead. Succeed”. Learning as we all know is a lifelong process and we at Sherwood always strive to secure the emotional and social well-being of our students. This year we plan to host a series of webinars to help them enhance their skills in various spheres and thereby help them sail through these turbulent times to succeed in life.

The academic session 2019-20 commemorates the 150th birth anniversary of our inspiring Father of the nation and iconic leader of non-violence. The journey of Mahatma Gandhi reminds humanity of harmonious coexistence and individual freedom. His epic vision and the charisma of the story our independence refracted in different spectrums gives a vitality to the present and future of our nation.
The theme of the academic session is “Itihaas” which is our tribute to Gandhiji. Every Sherwoodian will have an enhanced identity as an Indian citizen and inculcate universal values of peace to become a progressive citizen rooted in Indian values and global outlook.
